Seasonal songs coffee morning fundraiser Friday 16th December

Our Student Council is busy preparing for the coffee morning charity fundraiser on Friday morning. The two charities that will receive donations are Cystic Fibrosis Ireland and Focus Ireland.

What will happen?

The PTA are providing teas/coffees in the hall. (People are welcome to bring their own cuppa too). Tables and chairs will be set up cafe style so parents/grandparents can enjoy a drink, a chat and some festive songs.

The student Council will have buckets to collect cash. The PTA will have the sum up machine and can also take donations via revolut. The revolut account is  @carolijvpv

Drop off will take place as usual with teachers bringing children into class to prepare them to sing their chosen song(s). Parents/Guardians are welcome to have a stroll or go directly to the hall for coffee and chats.

Classes will come down to the hall one by one with their teachers to perform a song beginning with 6th class at 8:40am, finishing with Junior Infants. The whole performance lasts approximately 40-50 minutes.

If people are anxious about being in a hall with others, they are welcome to stand by the external hall doors which will be kept open.

We appreciate the great work done by the student council in organising this fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis and Focus Ireland. Sincere thanks to Ms Nea and Mr Doohan for supporting the council in their weekly meetings. We are most grateful to the PTA for their practical support preparing the hall, coffees, money collection etc. – it wouldn’t be possible without you!
