Getting to know common hogweed

Common hogweed is a plant that is very common and beneficial for lots of pollinators. And as you can see below we found evidence of a leaf miner enjoying the benefits of hogweed. It’s like the leaf miner is drawing in the leaves just like we draw on paper.

On our way to base camp we also noticed lots of evidence of fairies.

We got a letter from Common Hogweed via grandmother tree and some children continued drawing.

Goats – our new neighbours!

We went outside boundaries up to the top of the hill and met the goat herder and saw our new goaty neighbours.

And of course in a new place we had some time for play.
