Junior Infants are learning so much about the forest through observation, curiosity and wonder. Our job as leaders is to follow that interest and support the learning that they are drawn towards.

There was a lot of fairy magic in the woods this week.

We played games and loved having our 6th class assistants playing with us.

We met the hawthorn tree and made some lovely wish rags using some colours from nature.

We hung our wishes on the hawthorn tree and then had our sit spot. After sharing what we noticed and were grateful for, we had a taste of hawthorn blossom tea. Very magical!
