The BoM would also like to recognise the work and effort of all staff in DSP. The BoM would like to commend them on their ability to see and celebrate each child as an individual while at the same time making equality based decisions on what is best for every child in their class and the school.
The Board reviewed the Child Safeguarding Statement to reflect the recommendations of high-level review and legislation as required by the Department of Education. The revised policy will be uploaded to the school website. Hard copies are available to parents/guardians on request through the office: info@dspns.ie
Following a comprehensive consultation with the school community, the BoM has ratified the new Bí Cineálta policy. The BoM would like to thank all who were involved in shaping The DSP Bí Cineálta Policy to align with the our compassionate and empathetic ethos and communications.
The BoM would like to make the school community aware of the 3 eTendering processes which are currently underway:
- Extension and Alterations to Dalkey School Project National School – site visits by interested construction companies currently taking place
- Emergency Works to upgrade Fire Safety Systems in Dalkey School Project NS – expressions of interest currently being sought
- Provision of Hot Meals under the School Meals Scheme to Dalkey School Project National School – Phase 1 and 2 of the tendering process has been completed.
