Thanks to everyone – parents, staff, pupils – who managed to find time to complete the surveys. Thanks especially to parents who emailed more detailed feedback which was shared with staff. Work and home relationships have been turned upside down with this extended lockdown. It is good to know in our school community we can lean on and hold up one another.

Being a Changemaker school means we have good practices in place to bolster us in this time of exceptional need. We have adapted teaching and learning approaches and the survey findings show a significant majority of those who responded feel we are getting things just right.

It’s difficult to suit everyone’s needs but findings indicate that, for the most part, we are providing equal access to the curriculum for the children in our school during this international crisis.

The results reveal that staff and a majority of parents have empathy for others who are in different and perhaps more difficult situations than their own.

Midterm break 15th – 19th February 2021

Teachers, parents and children have been doing exceptional work during extremely challenging times. The mid-term break is a time for rest and a break from school activities.

Seesaw will not be in use for the midterm. Class materials and projects will be archived so do not post items to Seesaw during midterm.

We will return to school activities through Seesaw and Zoom – hopefully feeling refreshed – on Monday 22nd February.
