On Tuesday 6th April the Student Council visited Francis Street school in the Liberties, city centre.
It was a super day including travelling on Dublin Bus 7a, walking from Pearse St, along Dame St, past Christchurch Cathedral and on to Francis St.
Francis Street school is part of the Changemaker schools network. DSP children chatted with the ‘Franners’, had a tour of the school, played football and did some art. After some tasty pizza and more chats, we retraced our steps back to Glenageary. What a wonderful day meeting empathetic and creative people!
Thanks to our wonderful staff who, through their everyday kindness, leadership, creativity and professionalism, teach our children how to change the world in positive ways. Particular thanks to Ms O’Driscoll and Mr Doohan for their weekly meetings with the Student Council, and to Ms Maguire our Changemaker Champion, who supports multiple sustainable projects throughout the school.
