Our feature image is from Charlie Makesy’s beautiful book, A boy, a mole, a dog and a horse in acknowledgement of the extraordinary work parents/guardians are doing at home in this challenging time of distance learning.
Thanks to the many parents who completed surveys and sent notes of appreciation to staff through email. If you have not completed a survey please check your email 02.02.2021 and click the link. In order to get representative feedback, we ask that two parent families discuss their views on the survey and that one parent only fills the form. So far results of surveys show evidence of good independence skills at the senior end of the school where the majority of the children can access Seesaw and Zoom independently.
Thanks to 5th and 6th class students who completed their surveys. Friday 5th February is the last day to submit surveys for parents and children.
Whole school assembly Friday 12th February 2021 at 12:00 midday
Our next whole school assembly will be Friday 12th February 2021 at 12:00 midday. Teachers will invite children to submit samples of activities to share with everyone. It will be Chinese New Year, the start of the Year of the Ox. This week we celebrated Imbolg or Brigid’s Day, a good time to set intentions for the coming month.
Our value for the month of February is Love:
We will try our best and take pride in our work.
We will compliment and encourage others.
