Music Generation

Unfortunately Music Generation lessons are suspended (see letter below). However, we are very fortunate to have a playlist to go to when we feel like rehearsing our music learning:

Dear Primary Schools,
I am writing to you in relation to the MGdlr programme that runs in your school. As you are aware, we made a quick transition from classroom teaching to providing content via videos. The programme was designed to run in a school rather than online, however, and with instruments, not without. In addition, it brings with it the expectation that all children will have computer and internet access, notwithstanding that it is not always easy to measure a child’s engagement with musiceducation through video.

As the national restrictions must continue, it is no longer possible to sustain tuition in this manner and so the programme will come to an end on Friday 1 May. In terms of next year, it is difficult to plan definitively right now but we will be in touch in due course about this.

We wish to thank you and your teachers, SNAs and students for your support and participation in the programme this year.

Best regards,

Majella Boland
