A sunny weekend feels like a just reward for the whole school community who have returned to in-school learning with great zest, excitement and much thoughtfulness. It is wonderful to see so many children walking, cycling and scooting to school, and even very young children managing their belongings themselves. We appreciate help from caretaker Gary and Sixth class with the organisation of the cones – our visual reminders about safe and respectful parking.
We request empathy and thoughtfulness from adults who are parking and walking children to the school gates. A neighbour in Glenageary Park reported her driveway blocked on Monday morning. Let’s use our empathy skills and make choices that are helpful to ourselves and others.
A big thank you to the staff who have worked hard to make the back-to-school experience comfortable and stimulating for children. We wish everyone a happy and relaxing weekend!
