A meeting of the Board of Management was held on 21st January 2019. Items on the agenda included the Treasurer’s Report, Principal’s Report, Communications Report, Maintenance report, Voluntary Contributions report, and Buildings report. Specific items included:
- Thanks to all who paid VoluntaryContributions €18,592 to date. Reminder letters will be issued in February. VCs make investment in new equipment such as floors and IT possible, and help towards maintenance (painting, re-place furniture etc.) which is not fully covered by Dept. minor works grants.
- Board agreed Deborah will take on role of Health and Safety; Micheál will take on role of Maintenance/Premises.
- School Trips policy was ratified.
- Buildings revised plan is ready to submit to DLRCoCo. We are awaiting approval from DoES before submitting planning application.
I write to advise that the HSE Dental Service will be closed for refurbishment from this Thursday 7th February for a period of approximately 4 weeks for refurbishment.
The service will re-locate to our clinic in Meadow Vale, Cabinteely and all patient appointments will be at that clinic for the duration of the closure.
The emergency dental service will also operate out of the clinic in Meadow Vale, Cabinteely at 9am each morning, Monday to Friday.

We anticipate that normal service will resume in Our Lady’s Clinic, Patrick Street on Monday 11th March.
