Due to high demand for supplies this year we have started our Christmas shoebox appeal early!
Last year the support ICHH received from the public was unbelievable as we received over 20,000 shoeboxes and Dalkey School Project contributed over 200!!! These shoeboxes were checked and distributed to homeless adults and children right across the country and brought a smile to so many faces over Christmas.
The idea is simple. Wrap a shoebox and mark it Adult: Male/Female/Gender Neutral; or Child: boy/girl/gender neutral. In the shoebox you can put the likes of:
Toiletries: Yes – toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, sanitary towels, shampoo, gels etc. *No aerosols, perfumes, aftershaves, mouthwash or hand sanitizers.
Christmas Card (To a Friend Merry Christmas From a Friend)
Voucher for coffee shop/food restaurant/book store
If you would like to donate a shoebox to a homeless child please specify the child’s age and whether they are male/female/gender neutral. Items that could be added to a children’s shoebox could include a small toy, voucher for Smyths/McDonalds etc.

Shoeboxes can be delivered to Ms O’Connell in 6th class during the week of Monday 2nd December to Friday 6th.
Thank you for your generosity and support!!
