3rd Class are collecting Christmas Shoe boxes for the Inner City Helping Homeless appeal.  ICHH will distribute the shoe boxes to every age from new born babies through teenager’s to adults right across emergency accommodation to rough sleepers on our streets.

ICHH currently have over 3500 children registered as homeless and living in emergency accommodation.  These children are mostly living in one room with their families and eating, sleeping and doing homework  all in this one room. It is so hard to imagine what it would be like but hopefully we never have to actually live the reality of it.

Want to help? Here’s what to do.

Get a shoebox, mark it male or female. If you would like to do a Shoebox for a child please mark it Male/Female and specify the age group it is for  e.g girl age 6-8 or adult female etc

Fill it with items such as:

Hats, scarves, gloves, underwear, socks, chocolate/sweets, roll on deodorants, toothbrush/paste, soap, gift vouchers or a Christmas Card.

*No aerosols, perfumes, aftershaves, mouthwash or hand sanitizers.

Drop the shoebox into Ms O’Connell in 3rd class on the 12th or 13th December. (School is very busy with the Winter Market before this so boxes cannot be stored before the 12th Dec)
